Overview
- Transport for London confirmed no Piccadilly line trains will run between Cockfosters and Heathrow on Saturday and Sunday, 1 and 2 August, with services suspended from about 04:00 until the end of service and full overnight closures between 00:30 and 04:30.
- Night Tube services on the Piccadilly line will be suspended for the affected nights and rail replacement buses will run where trains are not operating.
- A reduced service will continue to operate between Acton Town and Uxbridge, westbound Piccadilly trains will not call at Barons Court, and Finsbury Park will stay closed over the weekend.
- An extended Tram closure starts on 5 August for more than three weeks to replace 770 metres of track in Croydon, and Charing Cross and Waterloo East remain shut until mid‑August with Southeastern services diverted to other central stations.
- TfL and partner operators have scheduled staggered engineering works across Tube, Overground, DLR and Elizabeth line services through August, and passengers are urged to check timetables before travel because airport journeys and holiday travel may face longer times and more transfers.
