Phoenix Police Investigate Death After Body Recovered From Canal

• Firefighters responding to reports of a body in a canal near 3rd Avenue and Hazelwood, south of Camelback Road, found an adult unresponsive around 5:45 p.m. Friday.
• Crews attempted resuscitation and the adult was pronounced dead at the scene.
