Phoenix Police Arrest Suspect After Pursuit Crash as Separate Hit-and-Run Critically Injures Motorcyclist

  • In a separate incident just before 8:45 a.m. near 7th Avenue and Bell Road, a motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a hit-and-run; police say the fleeing vehicle appeared to be a red or maroon car headed west on Bell Road.
  • ABC15 later reported a bicyclist was struck and killed around 3 p.m. along Osborn Road east of 16th Street, and investigators are seeking information through Phoenix police or Silent Witness.
