Overview
- ADOT, which posted the plan Friday, set overnight restrictions May 1–4 on SR 51, Loop 202, Loop 101, and US 60 and advised checking the state's AZ511 site or app for changes.
- Northbound SR 51 will close between Glendale Avenue and Shea Boulevard for asphalt removal, and drivers are directed to use northbound Interstate 17.
- Westbound Loop 202 will close at Gilbert Road for a widening project, with westbound on-ramps at SanTan Village Parkway, Val Vista Drive, and Lindsay Road also closed.
- Southbound Loop 101 will narrow to two lanes between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard for pavement work, so drivers should allow extra time.
- Westbound US 60 will close overnight between Tomahawk and Crismon on Saturday for pavement sealing, with one-lane nights between Mountain View and Tomahawk on Friday and Sunday using Southern or Baseline as alternates.
