Phasmophobia Reworks 13 Willow Street and Adds New Ghost and Trial
By reshaping rooms and moving every cursed-item spawn, the July 21 update changes how players approach investigations.
Overview
- Kinetic Games released the update on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, and players must relearn all seven Cursed Possession spawn locations for 13 Willow Street.
- The rework keeps the house footprint but changes room themes and layouts, giving the map a cat motif, converting the second bedroom into an art studio, the garage into a gym, and the basement into an open den with a bar and game area.
- A new ghost called the Deildegast joins the roster and is identified by Ghost Writing, EMF level 5, and DOTS Projector while showing faster early-contract speed that can be slowed by displacing items.
- The update adds the site-specific Artist’s Retreat trial that pays a Sun Seeker ID Card and Badge after 50 contracts, replaces the truck map with a full-color layout, and lists exact new cursed-item spawn points for faster searches.
- Quality-of-life and UI changes include PC equipment keybinds for slots 1–4, a watch inspect keybind, cameras that highlight evidence in-frame, prioritized evidence submissions, and the ability to take a separate photo during EMF-5 readings, all of which aim to speed investigations and reduce guesswork.
