Phantom Blade Zero Opens Pre-Orders Ahead of October 29 Release

A Sony State of Play on Monday will offer a nearly 20-minute gameplay deep dive, with a scrubbed PlayStation demo listing pointing to an imminent free trial that may resolve platform timing questions.

Overview

  • S-GAME launched digital pre-orders on PlayStation Store, Steam and the Epic Games Store this week and published an 11-minute gameplay trailer while confirming a October 29, 2026 release for PS5 and Windows PC.
  • The Standard edition is priced at $59.99 and the Digital Deluxe at $69.99, with pre-order bonuses including the Treasure Basin accessory and the Legacy outfit plus deluxe-only outfits, a digital artbook and soundtrack.
  • Sony will host a dedicated Phantom Blade Zero State of Play on Monday, August 17, that the company says will run for nearly 20 minutes and show deeper gameplay systems, new characters and build options.
  • A PlayStation Store demo page was briefly posted and removed, which outlets report as a likely free demo or shadow drop expected around the State of Play; S-GAME has not formally announced a demo release date.
  • Donnie Yen is confirmed as a creative consultant since 2023 and provides facial and motion capture for the character Mó Yuan, and S-GAME says it has no formal exclusivity deal with Sony while physical-release details remain unconfirmed.
