Peugeot Refreshes 408 for 2026, Adds First All‑Electric E‑408

  • The lineup now spans a 145 hp micro‑hybrid, a 240 hp plug‑in hybrid with a 14.6 kWh battery and up to 85 km electric range, and the new 213 hp E‑408 with a 58.2 kWh pack rated up to 456 km WLTP.
  • Fast charging reaches 120 kW for the E‑408, which also introduces battery preconditioning, Plug & Charge capability, and vehicle‑to‑load output up to 3.5 kW (16 A).
  • Design updates include a reworked front bumper and grille, a revised LED signature with three claws, and the brand name illuminated across the rear for the first time.
  • Cabin and connectivity upgrades bring a 10‑inch digital cluster (with available 3D graphics), a 10‑inch central display with i‑Toggles, expanded i‑Connect services, and optional ChatGPT integration with OTA updates.
  • Production is scheduled at Peugeot’s Mulhouse plant from June, an eight‑year/160,000 km warranty covers the car and battery, and media estimate a starting price around €31,500.
