Overview

  • Through Ministerial Resolution No. 090-2026-Vivienda, the Housing Ministry formalized a new BAE convocation covering districts in Amazonas, Áncash, Arequipa and Cajamarca.
  • S/500 will be paid monthly for up to two years to help eligible households rent safe housing with basic services.
  • Targeted locations include Amazonas (Cocabamba 4, Omia 10, Bagua Grande 13), Áncash (La Merced 11), Arequipa (Characato 2, José Luis Bustamante y Rivero 2, Sabandía 1) and Cajamarca (La Coipa 3).
  • Applicants must file their request with the local municipality under MVCS rules, including proof the original home collapsed or is uninhabitable and that they do not own another dwelling in the same department.
  • The MVCS reiterates there is no official online lookup for the 2026 BAE, urging people not to enter personal data on unofficial sites to avoid scams.
