Overview

  • The government published Supreme Decree No. 277-2025-EF, setting the first-scale RIM reference at S/116.69 per hour as the basis for updated teacher pay.
  • Contracted teachers under Law 30328 receive S/3,500.70 for 30-hour schedules, and PRONOEI/ONDEC/ODEC coordinators are set at S/4,667.60 per month.
  • Assignments for additional work in directorial, hierarchical or specialist roles rise by scale to S/1,166.90–S/2,450.49 for 30-hour positions.
  • Minedu reports that more than 426,000 teachers nationwide were paid the November tranche, covering both appointed and contracted staff.
  • Separately, Supreme Decree No. 279-2025-EF consolidates salaries for Minedu workers under DL 728, limits unauthorized extras, and records the new scale in AIRHSP.
