- The Policía Nacional del Perú reported that megaoperativos in Lima Norte on Saturday rescued more than 70 foreign women who are believed to be victims of sexual exploitation and were given protection under victim care protocols.

- A separate joint operation by the PNP and the Superintendencia Nacional de Migraciones in Piura and Castilla intervened 78 foreign nationals and identified 29 with irregular migratory status who were referred to Migraciones for administrative procedures.
- Officials say criminal investigations are under way and that the operations form part of ongoing plan-driven efforts that will continue, a move that may increase migration checks and patrols in Lima and northern border regions.
