Perch Energy Acquires Solstice, Lifting Community-Solar Platform Beyond 3 GW

The move folds Solstice’s 500‑MW portfolio plus executive team into Perch’s platform to scale subscriber services.

Overview

  • Perch bought Solstice from MyPower, a wholly owned Mitsui & Co. subsidiary, in a deal announced on February 18.
  • The combined platform now manages over 3 GW across more than 1,000 projects in 16 states, serving over 430,000 residential customer equivalents.
  • The companies will serve more than 86 solar project owners nationwide, with Solstice contributing about 500 MW alongside software, sales and operational talent.
  • Solstice co‑founder Sandhya Murali and executive Tyler Yasa are taking senior roles at Perch as the teams integrate.
