Penn State THON Weekend Rolls On With Football NIL Pledge and Campbell Match

The 46-hour student marathon supports Four Diamonds, with final 2026 totals to be announced at Sunday’s close.

Overview

  • THON runs nonstop from 6 p.m. Feb. 20 to 4 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Bryce Jordan Center, benefiting families facing pediatric cancer through Four Diamonds.
  • Penn State football players are directing portions of their NIL earnings to a team THON fund created by Max Granville, and head coach Matt Campbell has committed to match the players’ total when the donation period ends.
  • The team hosted Four Diamonds families for the long-running THON Explorers event at the Lasch Football Building and Holuba Hall, giving children a day inside the program’s facilities.
  • WGAL reports more than 16,500 student volunteers power the event and that 96 cents of every dollar raised goes directly to Four Diamonds.
  • Last year’s total reached a record $17,737,040.93; this year’s amount will be revealed at the conclusion of THON, as chapters such as Penn State Harrisburg report ongoing fundraising, including about $35,000 to date.
