Penn State Adds 6'7" Tight End Sean Currie to 2027 Recruiting Class

Sean Currie announced his verbal commitment to Penn State on Friday, becoming the 19th known pledge in the 2027 class.
The Lawrenceville School product is listed at about 6-foot-7 and 230–235 pounds and caught 34 passes for 474 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior.
Currie chose Penn State over finalists that included Ohio State and Texas A&M after visits and meetings with the staff.
Scouts project him as a receiving tight end who will need to add roughly 20–30 pounds to handle college blocks and could see his recruiting grade rise with development.
His pledge fits coach Tayler Mouser’s plan to run multiple tight end sets and strengthens a class that already includes four-star tight end Cooper Terwilliger.
