- This August, media were shown the new top of the rebuilt west stand and reported much higher 'nosebleed' vantage points than before.
- Portions of the renovated west side will be available for fans at the season opener on Sept. 5, with Penn State targeting fuller west-side availability by the Oct. 10 game.
- Athletic director Patrick Kraft has said permanent capacity could surpass 108,000 and university plans for temporary bleachers make projections of roughly 109,000 possible.
- The project raises the west stand about 30 feet and moves it roughly 100 feet closer to the field while adding more club and luxury seating, wider concourses and increased restroom capacity to improve circulation.
