Overview
- Emergency services were called to Tempe about 12:15pm after a bus struck a 39-year-old man, who died at the scene, NSW Police said.
- The Princes Highway is shut northbound between Forest Road at Arncliffe and Union Street at Tempe.
- Traffic already in the area is being diverted via Gannon Street and Unwins Bridge Road, with motorists urged to use Marsh Street and Airport Drive and allow extra time.
- Bus routes 422 and 348 are starting and ending trips early through the affected corridor, transport authorities advised.
- Emergency and traffic crews remain on site as a report is prepared for the coroner.
