Pedestrian and Passenger Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash Outside Longbridge M&S

Police say the pedestrian’s condition is not thought to be life-threatening.

  • Emergency services were called at about 2:36pm to Longbridge High Street outside the Marks & Spencer store.
  • Crews treated a male pedestrian for potentially serious injuries and took him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital under emergency conditions.
  • A female passenger from one of the cars sustained injuries believed not to be serious and was taken to the same hospital.
  • West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances, three paramedic officers and the Critical Care Car to the scene.
  • West Midlands Police report that a driver remained to assist as enquiries continue into the collision involving two vehicles and a pedestrian.
