  • A top player known as Carn found a hidden chamber and voluntarily destroyed his level 100 character to become the "Martyr of the First Edict," which left his character grayed out and listed on leaderboards.
  • After Carn's sacrifice a glowing orb appeared in the chamber that lets characters in that same league claim a "Mote of the Martyr's Power" and receive one free passive skill-tree point.
  • The reward is gated by league and mode, so Carn's act only benefited players in Solo Self-Found until another user, ResurrectGodAura, performed the same sacrifice on the regular multiplayer lane a few hours later.
