Overview
- Parklife took place at Heaton Park on June 20–21 with gates opening midday on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday, a strict final entry cut-off at 5pm and an 11pm curfew each night.
- Organisers expected and accommodated roughly 70,000–80,000 visitors across the weekend, and headline acts including Skepta, Sammy Virji, Calvin Harris and Zara Larsson delivered large, well-attended sets.
- The new Panorama stage made its debut, featuring multi-level dance platforms, a 100-metre curved LED screen and behind-the-booth VIP access that changed the site’s production footprint.
- Festival rules were strictly enforced: searches on entry, a long prohibited-items list (no alcohol or liquids, no large bags, no re-entry among other items), and clear gate routes to manage crowds and transport demand.
- A headline DJ, Marlon Hoffstadt, pulled out before the weekend after posting from a hospital bed that he was unfit to fly following surgery, and organisers adjusted the Matinee-stage timetable in response.
