Parker Kligerman Withdraws From Bristol Truck Race

Lingering illness kept him from the Craftsman Truck Series Chase opener with Henderson Motorsports naming Nick Sanchez as his replacement.

Overview

  • Kligerman said on Thursday that recovery from an illness last week has been slower than hoped and that lingering effects left him not race-ready for the UNOH 250.
  • Henderson Motorsports confirmed Nick Sanchez will drive the No. 75 Chevrolet at Bristol that night, marking Sanchez’s first start of the 2026 season in that entry.
  • The UNOH 250 opens the Truck Series Chase at Bristol Motor Speedway, a high-banked half-mile concrete short track where 37 trucks entered for 36 starting positions.
  • Kligerman will still fulfill his scheduled O'Reilly Auto Parts Series broadcast the following night and said he hopes to attempt additional Truck starts later this year.
  • Kligerman has an established history with Henderson Motorsports, including a 2022 Mid-Ohio win and a disqualified 2025 Daytona result, while Sanchez brings prior Truck wins and top-10 Bristol finishes to the short-notice assignment.
