Paris Prosecutor Reports About 10 Newly Identified Suspected Epstein Victims in French Probe

The update points to a victim-first approach as France builds a cross-border case from newly released US records.

Overview

  • Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau, speaking Sunday on RTL, said about 20 people have come forward since February, including roughly 10 newly identified suspected victims.
  • She said no potentially implicated individuals have been questioned yet in what remains an early evidence-gathering phase.
  • Investigators are reviewing the USEpstein files” along with Epstein’s computer, phone records, and address books to match names and links to France.
  • Many of the suspected victims live abroad, so the task force is setting up Paris interviews when travel is possible.
  • The French probe, launched in February after the DOJ document release, is also tracking leads such as an inquiry into alleged recruiter Daniel Siad reported by BFM.
