- Municipal officials cancelled the morning provaccia and hoisted the green flag from Palazzo Pubblico to signal suspension after rain left the tufo surface in Piazza del Campo unusable.
- The Comune released an official revised program for the rescheduled event that sets mortaretto warnings in the afternoon, limited access to the 'conchiglia' between 16:30 and 18:30, the Corteo Storico entry at 17:20 and the horses’ exit for the race at about 19:30.
