Pakistan’s Weekly SPI Rises 0.73% on Utility, Food Price Gains

Year-on-year weekly inflation reached 4.32%, indicating modest price pressure versus 2024.

  • Tomatoes dropped Rs54.11 per kilogram, onions fell Rs13.66 and potatoes slid Rs3.63; garlic, wheat flour, chicken, masoor and mash pulses also became cheaper.
  • Prices for fresh milk, yogurt, bread, piped gas and petroleum products showed no change in the latest reading.
