Overview
- PBS reported 14 of 51 tracked items rose in price, 12 fell, while 25 were unchanged during the week.
- Electricity charges increased by 60 paisas per unit, and a domestic LPG cylinder cost Rs113.72 more.
- Moong pulse rose Rs7.17 per kilogram, a 2.5kg tin of ghee gained over Rs14, with firewood, sugar and mutton also higher.
- Tomatoes dropped Rs54.11 per kilogram, onions fell Rs13.66 and potatoes slid Rs3.63; garlic, wheat flour, chicken, masoor and mash pulses also became cheaper.
- Prices for fresh milk, yogurt, bread, piped gas and petroleum products showed no change in the latest reading.
