Overview
- The Pakistan Meteorological Department said Thursday that continental air will keep most of Pakistan hot and dry.
- A weak westerly is forecast to reach western and upper regions by evening or night, bringing isolated light rain, gusty winds and thunderstorms.
- The highest storm chances focus on western and northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit‑Baltistan, Kashmir and northeast Balochistan including Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Chaman and Qila Abdullah.
- Sindh and most of Punjab will stay hot and dry, with dusty winds likely in southern districts and partly cloudy conditions possible over the Potohar region.
- Karachi will remain hot and humid with highs near 33–35°C and no rain expected, which could strain commuters and outdoor workers who face heat and glare during the day.
