Overview
- Coordinated assaults struck roughly a dozen locations including Quetta, Gwadar, Noshki, Dalbandin, Kalat, Mastung, Pasni, Tump and Kharan, prompting clearance operations and aerial surveillance.
- ISPR said 92 militants were killed on Saturday and 133 over two days, while earlier official and media counts were lower for militant deaths and initially cited about 10 security personnel killed before ISPR later put the figure at 15.
- Officials reported civilian casualties including labourer families in Gwadar and additional victims in Kharan, with the military stating that 18 civilians were killed.
- Incidents included the abduction of Noshki Deputy Commissioner Hussain Hazara, reported jailbreaks freeing more than 30 inmates, and attacks on a police mobile and a Pakistan Coast Guards post.
- Authorities alleged foreign direction for the attackers under the label “Fitna al-Hindustan,” as emergency measures such as mobile data suspensions, road and rail closures, and hospital alerts remained in place in parts of Balochistan.
