- Pakistan’s Economic Affairs Division and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank signed the $320.16 million financing Tuesday in Islamabad for Phase-IA of the N-5 reconstruction.
- The program targets critical stretches through Sindh, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the country’s busiest north–south corridor that connects major economic centers.
- AIIB said the rebuild will use modern, green and climate-resilient design standards to ensure sustainability and long-term durability.
