Packers Invite UAB Running Back Isaiah Jacobs to Rookie Minicamp Tryout

  • NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that UAB’s Isaiah Jacobs, the younger brother of Packers starter Josh Jacobs, will try out at Green Bay’s rookie minicamp.
  • Rookie minicamp is the one window when teams can run full practices with non-roster tryouts, and the Packers’ 90-man roster is already full.
  • Jacobs’ path ran from Maryland to Independence Community College to UAB, with season-ending ACL and foot injuries in 2023 and 2024.
  • Across five FBS seasons he recorded 930 rushing yards with seven touchdowns and 48 receptions, and he has little college return experience.
  • At his March pro day he measured 5'11" and 228 pounds with a 40-yard time near 4.95, and NFL Draft Scout lists him as a fullback; South Dakota also said QB Aidan Bouman has a tryout.
