Ozlo Launches Sleepbuds 2 With 14-Hour Battery and Sleep-First Controls

The company traded active noise cancellation for a low-profile overnight fit that automatically shifts streamed audio to onboard masking sounds to support all-night use.

Overview

  • Ozlo launched the Sleepbuds 2 on Tuesday, July 28, and the earbuds are available now for $279 through the company and retailers.
  • The new model extends single-charge battery life to up to 14 hours and gives the charging case enough power for two to three nights of use per charge.
  • Ozlo says connectivity and pairing are improved via a redesigned antenna and dedicated pairing controls, and a smart case button can start sleep sounds or snooze alarms without a phone.
  • The Sleepbuds 2 add sleep-tracking features that monitor breathing and movement in the buds and measure room sound, light, and temperature from the case, while automated Sleep Modes switch from streamed audio to onboard masking sounds when sleep is detected.
  • Early reviews praise better battery and software but flag variable overnight comfort for some users and note the deliberate omission of active noise cancellation, a design tradeoff Ozlo says preserves a smaller, side-sleeper-friendly form factor as it builds a broader sleep ecosystem.
