Overview
- Kansas City, Kansas, police say two people died and four others were hospitalized with serious to critical injuries after a wrong-way head-on collision just before 12:45 a.m. at Quindaro Boulevard and 10th Street.
- Investigators determined a westbound vehicle on Quindaro was struck by an eastbound vehicle that was traveling in the westbound lane.
- In a separate crash just after midnight in Kansas City, Missouri, a silver Buick was rear-ended at high speed near NE 103rd Street and North Oak Parkway, and the Buick's driver died at the scene.
- KCPD reports the pickup driver who rear-ended the Buick remained at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of DUI as the investigation continues.
