Overview
- A wave of shootings struck the city in a short span overnight, producing at least 16 people shot across neighborhoods including Little Village, Humboldt Park, the Near West Side, Edgewater and North Lawndale.
- Four teenagers were wounded in a single Little Village incident on South Washtenaw Avenue and were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition with injuries ranging from grazes to a buttock and calf wound.
