Overview
- OUIGO has reduced services between Madrid and Sevilla/Málaga from 9 to 22 January, trimming eight daily trains Friday–Monday and six Tuesday–Thursday for about 15,000 seats.
- Passengers on canceled OUIGO services can change trips for free or receive full refunds plus compensation ranging from 50% to 200% depending on notice.
- Renfe is deploying two extra Avlo trains on Madrid–Sevilla starting Friday and will add capacity, including toward Málaga if needed, with €7 seats for travelers affected by OUIGO cancellations.
- Renfe’s ‘Superprecios’ sale runs 8–18 January with Avlo from €7 and AVE from €15 for travel from 8 January, with ‘Superprecio’ fares visible online and a €3 upgrade option from Básico to Elige.
- OUIGO’s ‘Pink Days’ promotion runs 7–14 January with 680,000 fixed-fare seats between €9 and €33 for travel from 12 January to 25 March across all its Spanish routes.
