Orlando Airport Begins Rollout of $13.9M Parking Guidance System

Overview

• The Automated Parking Guidance System began installation in Garage C on Thursday, July 23, 2026, and will be added in phases to Garages A and B and the Terminal Top with system-wide completion expected by summer 2027.
• The $13.9 million system uses cameras and digital signs on roads, at entrances, and inside structures to show lane-by-lane availability for about 11,000 garage spaces.
• MCO is converting the Terminal Top Garage in a separate $1.5 million project to roughly 1,500 Reserved Parking spaces, which will nearly triple the airport’s reserved inventory.
• Travelers can reserve parking through MCO’s website or app for a current fee of $32 per day, and a reservation guarantees parking availability but not a specific stall.
• The upgrade improves how existing spaces are used at an airport with about 23,000 public spots and complements GOAA plans to add roughly 8,000 more public spaces by 2030, though it does not change flights or ground transport to Walt Disney World.
