Overview
- The 220-meter Orient Express Corinthian was christened at Saint-Nazaire in late April and has departed for the French Riviera to begin its inaugural Mediterranean and Adriatic season.
- The vessel uses SolidSail, a rigid-sail system on three tilting masts that rotate to capture wind for primary propulsion, with LNG engines as a cleaner backup when conditions change.
- Sea trials in February showed roughly 12 knots under sail alone with the engines off, which executives said delivered a notably quiet ride.
- On board are 54 suites for about 110–130 guests, five restaurants led by chef Yannick Alléno, eight bars, a Guerlain spa, and curated libraries, with some suites reported from €17,770 for two for three nights.
- After the May–October Mediterranean run, the yacht is slated to cross the Atlantic for a Caribbean winter, while a sister ship, Olympian, is being fitted for service in 2027.
