Overview
- The two athletic departments announced May 26 a four-game home-and-home set for Sept. 16, 2028 at Reser Stadium, Sept. 15, 2029 at Autzen Stadium, Aug. 30, 2031 at Autzen, and Sept. 11, 2032 at Reser.
- There will be no meetings in 2026 or 2027, the first two-year break in the series since 1944, and no game is currently scheduled for the 2030 season.
- To make room for the 2029 matchup, Oregon moved its 2029 game with Utah State from Sept. 15 to Sept. 8, showing the schedule changes required to add the rivalry game.
- The series began in 1894, has been played 129 times, and Oregon leads the all-time record roughly 70-49-10 after a 41-7 win in the last meeting.
- Conference shifts explain the change: Oregon joined the Big Ten in 2024 and Oregon State will play in the reconstituted Pac-12, which means future meetings will need deliberate nonconference agreements and could cause more calendar ripple effects for both programs and fans.
