Overview
- The Offshore Petroleum Regulator for Environment and Decommissioning opened a public consultation on the Rosebank oil field that will run until 17 August, and a separate consultation on the Jackdaw gas field also began.
- Adura’s chief executive Neil McCulloch urged the UK Government to grant timely consent for both projects, saying they would bring about £10.8 billion of investment between them and support thousands of construction jobs and long‑term industry roles.
- Adura provided production and economic estimates, saying Rosebank could peak at about 69,000 barrels per day and that Rosebank and Jackdaw together could at peak supply roughly 10% of UK domestic gas production.
