Oppo Rolls Out Reno 15A 5G In Japan and Opens Reno 16 Series Pre‑Orders For Southeast Asia

Oppo is pushing models with much larger batteries, faster charging and upgraded cameras to tailor features and prices to different markets.

Overview

  • Oppo has launched the Reno 15A 5G and begun pre-orders in Japan with official specs that include a 7,000mAh battery, 80W wired charging, a 50MP main rear camera and up to 12GB of RAM.
  • The Reno 15A 5G is listed on Oppo Japan's store in three colourways and two capacity tiers, with pricing published for the 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB variants.
  • Oppo confirmed regional launch dates and pre-orders for the Reno 16 series, scheduling a July 3 debut in Indonesia and a July 8 debut in Malaysia with Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro and a new Reno 16F shown in listings.
  • EU EPREL certification entries list rated battery figures and protections for the Reno 16 line, showing Energy Class A and an IP68 rating plus model‑listed capacities that differ between the standard/Pro and the 16F.
  • Reports say a Reno 16c variant may arrive in India alongside the Reno 16, but those device specifications remain unconfirmed and should be treated as leaks until Oppo verifies them.
