ONS Publishes January 2026 UK Monthly GDP, Services and Production Indices

Overview

• The Office for National Statistics released its January 2026 monthly GDP estimate alongside the Index of Services and Index of Production on 13 March 2026.
• The GDP package includes industry-level data, contributions to monthly growth tables, consumer-facing services series, and revision triangles for transparency.
• The services release covers sectors that make up about 79% of UK output with seasonally adjusted measures and supporting Monthly Business Survey datasets and revision triangles.
• The production release tracks manufacturing, mining and quarrying, energy supply, and water and waste management with associated export proportions, turnover data, and response-rate metrics.
• All publications are accredited official statistics reviewed by the Office for Statistics Regulation, and the next monthly GDP update is scheduled for 16 April 2026.
