Overview
- An 87-year-old Dacia driver died at Ninewells Hospital after a two-car collision reported around 10:40am on Saturday, 14 March.
- Two children aged 7 and 13, an 88-year-old passenger, and the 32-year-old Vauxhall driver were taken to Ninewells, with their conditions not disclosed.
- The crash involved a red Dacia Sandero and a blue Vauxhall Astra on the A92 north of Rathillet in Fife.
- The A92 was shut in both directions between Kilmany and Rathillet for about five hours for on-scene inquiries, reopening around 3pm.
- Police Scotland asked witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to call 101 quoting incident 1055 of 14 March.
