Om Birla at Indore Convocation Says India’s Youth Are Key to Global Solutions

• Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla delivered the chief-guest address at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya’s eighth convocation in Indore on February 27.
• He said countries are looking to India for answers to global challenges, pointing to the demographic strength of its youth.
• Birla urged graduating students to commit to nation-building aligned with the vision of a developed India, or Viksit Bharat.
• He highlighted startups, research and new technology as engines of progress while calling on youth to keep strengthening their capabilities.
• Event organizers said 2,008 undergraduate and postgraduate students and 32 PhD scholars received degrees, and 16 students were awarded gold medals.
