  • Daisy Chain Fields, which announced Friday that it had raised $10 million, is set to open at Great Park in Irvine on Saturday as a sold-out, single-day festival headlined by Olivia Rodrigo.
  • Organizers confirmed the $10 million will be split among ten named partners including Planned Parenthood, the Center for Reproductive Rights, Baby2Baby and the National Domestic Workers Alliance.
  • The all-women and gender-diverse lineup features Rodrigo with guests such as Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan and Santigold, and a last-minute swap moved Santigold into KATSEYE’s slot after KATSEYE withdrew because of an injury.
  • Ticketing is closed and the festival has warned that there is no official resale platform so unauthorized wristbands may be voided, while Metrolink added three late-night trains to ease departures.
  • City and festival officials advised precautions for extreme heat and will provide free hydration stations, cooling fans, misters, cooling buses at medical tents and staffed nonprofit activations where attendees can learn about volunteer and civic opportunities.
