- Ten suspects were taken into custody this week as Oise gendarmes dismantled the network.

- The inquiry began in July after a tip about an instant photo-and-video sharing account used to plan vehicle thefts.
- Roughly 40 thefts or attempts targeted mainly Citroën, Renault, and Peugeot using specialized electronic tools and help from complicit garages and a storage site.
- Stolen cars were either disguised for reuse or stripped and sold as parts via a classifieds platform, and raids seized six vehicles including a tow truck, 21 phones, three computers, over €25,000, a stolen Clio, eight engines, and other parts.
