Offset Downplays Florida Shooting in First Interview, Says He’s Still Moving

The FBI investigation remains open with no shooting charges.

Overview

  • Offset, who was shot April 6 outside the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida, gave his first in-person interview Thursday and said the bullet hit his hip.
  • He told the Creators Inc. podcast he plans to keep working and does not want sympathy, repeating that he feels blessed to be able to move.
  • Five days after the incident, he returned to the stage at the University of Arkansas’s Rowfest on April 11, arriving in a wheelchair before standing during the set.
  • He said he flew to Los Angeles on a G5 outfitted with a bed so he could rest in transit and keep up with work commitments.
