- Following Monday’s public meeting, the Obama Foundation set a free, registration-only watch party on the Midway Plaisance for the June 18 dedication and outlined road closures running June 8–22 with tighter limits June 15–19.
- The museum opens June 19 and the campus hosts a free weekend of performances, food, art and activities June 20–21 in Jackson Park.
- Media previews Monday confirmed a replica Oval Office and exhibits focused on Barack Obama’s White House years, along with public amenities that include a Chicago Public Library branch, green space and a full basketball court.
