Overview
- The Venice lineup announced Thursday confirmed Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger will have its world premiere at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival and festival president Alberto Barbera said both Noel and Liam Gallagher have promised to attend.
- The film is created by Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, and lists Magna Studios, Sony Music Vision and producers Sam Bridger and Guy Heeley among its production credits.
- Producers say the documentary includes unprecedented rehearsal, backstage and onstage access and the brothers’ first joint interviews in decades as it chronicles the Live ’25 reunion tour.
- A limited IMAX and cinema engagement is scheduled in early September in regional markets with Australia/New Zealand dates reported for Sept. 10, followed by exclusive streaming on Disney+ internationally and on Disney+ and Hulu in the U.S. later in 2026.
- Venue-sourced reports of large-scale Oasis shows in 2027, including a rumored 12-night Etihad residency and Knebworth dates, remain unconfirmed and should be treated as speculation at this stage.
