Oakridge Park Sets May 28 Opening for First Phase in Vancouver

The launch signals a luxury-led retail anchor for a five-million-square-foot redevelopment that adds housing, offices plus a new public park.

  • Oakridge Park, which opens to the public Thursday, May 28 at 11 a.m., will debut about 650,000 square feet of retail with roughly 100 stores, about 85 percent open on day one.
  • The lineup features luxury houses including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Tiffany & Co. and Rolex alongside Canadian names such as Lululemon and Aritzia.
  • Time Out Market Vancouver will rank among the brand’s largest with 40,000 square feet inside plus a 10,000-square-foot deck overlooking the new park.
  • The first phase spans about 2.8 million square feet with nearly 1,400 homes, 720,000 square feet of offices and a rooftop park that will open in part on day one.
  • The full redevelopment totals five million square feet with an estimated $6.5 billion cost and is scheduled to add more retail and housing in phases through 2029 under QuadReal and Westbank.
