Overview
- Organizers announced Tuesday that O Marisquiño will stage the first DMC Iberia final on Sunday, 9 August, as part of the festival’s music program at Samil beach.
- Registrations opened 9 June and run through 1 July for an online preliminary that will select finalists from Spain and Portugal.
- The final will feature three categories — Scratch (technical scratch routines), Classic (six-minute prepared routines) and Open (twelve-minute freestyle performances) — with planned finalist slots of eight for Scratch and six each for Classic and Open.
- An all-day program on 9 August will include workshops, technical demos and guest showcases, and a judging panel led by DJ Stereossauro, DJ Pimp and DJ ND will award the three category winners.
- Technics, Ortofon, Magma DJ Bags and Decksaver are listed as supporters supplying prizes, and the three Iberian winners will advance to the DMC World DJ Championships final in London on 14 November.
