Overview
- The attacks occurred March 3 at about 8:23 p.m. near West 60th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, seconds apart and without prior interaction.
- Police say the man punched a 31-year-old in the face, then struck a 27-year-old, causing a laceration to her nose.
- Both victims sustained minor injuries; medics treated the 27-year-old at the scene and the 31-year-old was not hospitalized.
- The suspect fled eastbound on West 60th Street toward Amsterdam Avenue and is described as having a light complexion, wearing a tan jacket and black pants.
