Overview
- The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Warning around 3 p.m. Tuesday and later verified two EF-0 tornadoes in the Plum Grove area.
- The first tornado began at 3:24 p.m., was on the ground for a minute or less near County Roads 3708 and 3709, traveled about a quarter mile, and peaked near 80 mph.
- The second tornado lasted from 3:27 p.m. to 3:33 p.m., moved nearly two miles from FM 1010 to CR 3404, and reached an estimated 85 mph.
- Officials cited downed trees, fences, and power lines and damage to a metal structure, and no injuries or deaths have been reported.
- Homeowner Donald Enloe’s auto shop was destroyed with metal debris wrapped around vehicles, surveillance video recorded the damage, and he has cleanup crews, an electrician, and an inspector scheduled.
