NTA Flags Photo–ID Mismatches for CUET UG, Orders Attested Uploads by April 10

The step aims to confirm identities early to avert exam-day problems.

Overview

  • The National Testing Agency, which issued an advisory Tuesday, opened a targeted April 7–10 window for applicants flagged for photograph–Aadhaar mismatches or use of non-Aadhaar IDs.
  • Affected candidates must upload one PDF through the official link sent to their registered email, as this is the only channel NTA is using for the fix.
  • The PDF must include a signed certificate and a recent photograph certified by the candidate’s school or college principal or headmaster.
  • If a campus authority is not available, a Class-I Gazetted Officer can attest the document, and Indian Embassy Class-I officers may do so for NRI applicants.
  • Candidates must carry a printed copy of the submitted certificate to the test centre for physical verification, with CUET UG 2026 scheduled for May 11–31.
