Overview
- The National Testing Agency opened the refund facility on May 22 and will accept bank details through May 27 at 11:50 pm on the official NEET registration site.
- Candidates must log in with their NEET credentials and provide account holder name, account number, IFSC and bank name; uploaded details are final and cannot be changed.
- The portal offers an optional upload of a scanned cancelled cheque to reduce errors and includes published helpline and email contacts for support.
- The NTA has urged students not to initiate chargebacks and one report cites that refunds may be processed within seven working days after submission.
- The refund move follows the cancellation of the May 3 exam over alleged paper leaks and CBI and other probes and is paired with a free re‑exam on June 21 and pledges for tighter security and a shift to computer‑based testing next year.
