- A ribbon-cutting ceremony at Noto Satoyama Airport formally launched the nickname “Noto Satoyama Pokemon With You Airport” and included a Pikachu appearance for visitors.
- The airport terminal was redecorated with large Pokemon illustrations and a suspended Pikachu balloon, and shops are selling limited-edition Pokemon merchandise and themed meals.
- The Pokemon With You Foundation, set up by employees of The Pokemon Company to run social contribution projects, proposed the nickname and backed the airport makeover.
